EAST PEORIA — Third-ranked Illinois Central ran away in the second half as it beat the Sandburg women's basketball team 112-49 on Sunday afternoon.
Antonia Kisler had a team-leading 17 points on 7-of-18 shooting for the Chargers (6-5) in the loss. Kisler also tied Janessa Wallace for the team lead with seven rebounds.
Tiera Hall had nine points and five boards for Sandburg, which outscored the Cougars 20-18 in the second quarter to trail 38-27 at halftime.
ICC's Kaitlin White had a game-best 22 points while going 9 of 14 from the floor. Larissa Taylor had 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Cougars (9-1).
The contest was originally scheduled for Saturday afternoon at Sandburg but was rescheduled and relocated following inclement weather that day.
