Minkel, Hackman help Chargers top Vikings in dual match
GALESBURG — Lauren Minkel and Ava Hackman tied for second individually as the Sandburg women's golf team edged Augustana JV in a dual match Wednesday at Lake Bracken.
The Chargers shot 381 as a team to top the Vikings by two shots in the match.
Minkel and Hackman each shot a 92 to lead Sandburg in the victory. Kylie Fahnestock (98) and Abigail Strode (99) provided the other two counting scores for the Chargers.
The Vikings' Emma VanderWall was medalist with a score of 90, beating Minkel and Hackman by two.
