Sandburg men stop Scots for 4th win in a row 

 
 

GALESBURG — The second men's basketball team stayed hot with a 66-48 win at Monmouth JV on Thursday night. 

The victory was the Chargers' second in as many nights, their fourth in a row overall and their sixth in the last seven games. Sandburg (15-8) improved to 9-2 in its last 11 contests, with all of those wins by double digits. 

Freshman Rylan Carton led the Chargers with 13 points, including three 3-pointers. 

Keauntrey Barnes scored all of his 11 points in the first half, helping Sandburg to a 43-22 advantage at the break. Freshman Gavin Grothaus added 10 points for the Chargers.
