Chargers Quieted on Road by No. 7 Panthers

CICERO — The Carl Sandburg College men's soccer team continued a string of matches against nationally ranked teams by dropping a 4-0 decision at nationally ranked Morton on Saturday afternoon.

The Chargers (4-4-1 overall, 3-4-1 Region IV), coming off a 4-3 win last week against No. 10 Prairie State, were held off the scoreboard on eight shot attempts against the Panthers. Two of Sandburg's shots against Morton were on goal.

The No. 7 Panthers scored twice in each half in earning the Region IV victory. Morton got first half goals from Milani Santos and Luis Escalante in the 20^th and 24^th minutes, respectively. Rafael Silverio made it 3-0 in the 61^st minute and Jean Leonardo dos Sa capped the scored with a goal in the 72^nd minute.
